It provides direction for an athlete looking to take their climbing to the next level with smart training practices. The book includes information on stacking training – strength and endurance, recovery, goal-setting, mental fitness, nutrition, and altitude adaptation.
  • Mountain Athlete: Great website that offers varied and seasonal programming for various types of mountain sports. They have a great FREE video library of several training movements that play a key role in their programming. They also offer very reasonably priced programming based on specific objectives. Their Big Mountain Training Program is the most applicable training program for expedition-style climbing like Denali.
  • Gym Jones: We all know Mark Twight understands the art of suffering in the alpine, so how could his gym and programming not be an amazing resource? Gym Jones offers tiered memberships ($), which includes programming, knowledge base articles, videos and a Q&A section.
